Writing Contest Guidelines

Guidelines for Submission


Please submit your entries in 12-point, Times New Roman font.  All entries should be double-spaced for easy readability, but should otherwise appear as the author wishes them to appear in print.


Entries have no word or page limits, but should be titled, thoroughly proofread and of "published" quality.

Submit all entries via email to all.standup.speakout@gmail.com as Microsoft Word (.doc) attachments.   Include your full name, address, and a phone number or email address that you check regularly in the event that we need to contact you.


Once we receive your submission via email, we will send a reply and a release form.  Please complete the release form and mail it to:

Important:  You may publish your work under a pseudonym.  We will keep your personal information confidential.  However, no entries will be eligible for prizes or publication without a signed release form.
